February 2021 - George Washington's Secret Love
Emelie and Nathan had the opportunity to work opposite one another in an upcoming episode of America's Hidden Stories. Catch George Washington's Secret Love on February 15 on the Smithsonian Channel.
Emelie is an AEA actor and singer based in the DC area. Her contracts have taken her Off-Broadway, on national tours, and to regional theatres across the country. In 2012, she was a recipient of the Roger Sturtevant EMC Musical Theatre Award. In addition to stage work, Emelie has filmed television episodes, commercials, and industrials, and freelanced as a voice actor. Formerly, she was based in New York City and southern California.
Emelie is married to fellow actor, Nathan Whitmer. The two of them live with their three young children and one black cat.
